Learning & Training

Learn AccScript step by step, from first script to production use.

AccScript learning material is designed for national accountants, trainers, and technical teams. The goal is to make the tool understandable, teachable, and usable inside official statistical production environments.

Learning paths

Structured training for different levels of use.

Level 1

Introduction to AccScript

Understand what AccScript is, why it was created, and how scripting can support reproducible national accounts compilation.

Level 2

Practical SUT balancing

Learn how to read, modify, validate, and execute scripts for product-level Supply and Use Table balancing.

Level 3

Advanced production use

Work with scenarios, references, validation errors, output comparison, and production-quality script organization.

Trainer level

Training of trainers

Prepare NSO trainers to teach AccScript internally and adapt examples to their country’s production context.

Training material

A growing library of exercises and examples.

The training library will include PDF exercises, worked examples, tutorials, recorded sessions, and practical cases based on realistic national accounts workflows.

NSO-specific training

Training can be adapted to each country’s production context.

For interested NSOs, training can be organized around the country’s own production workflow, nomenclature, existing tools, and practical needs. This is especially important because Version 1 currently supports the Moroccan nomenclature, while future versions aim to become nomenclature-agnostic.
